Raúl Torres is Legal Director of the Employment Law Department at DLA Piper's Madrid office.

He has extensive experience in corporate restructuring, including collective redundancies, substantial changes in working conditions, temporary layoffs (ERTE), and outsourcing and subcontracting processes. He also stands out for his frequent appearances as a lawyer before the social courts and tribunals, as well as before the Labour Inspectorate.

Raúl has extensive experience in all areas of labour and social security law. He regularly advises clients on individual negotiations (dismissals, claims for payment, contract modifications, among others), on the drafting of employment contracts —especially for senior management— and service provision for self-employed professionals, as well as on labour due diligence processes.
